[Tweets] Ozil expresses relief on Twitter after Arsenal beat WBA
Mesut Ozil is one of several players who’ve been expressing their relief on Twitter after Arsenal narrowly beat West Brom 1-0 at the Emirates this afternoon.
The Baggies were set-up to frustrate us as Tony Pulis’ side had 8 or 9 men behind the ball at all times which limited the space in which we could work in and create clear-cut chances.
It looked as though it was going to end in Arsenal dropping another two valuable points but Olivier Giroud popped-up to head home an 86th minute winner from a superb Mesut Ozil cross.
The German playmaker has now taken to Twitter to express his relief at securing a much needed three points and getting the club back to winning ways following two disappointing results.
Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi and Per Mertesacker have also posted messages on the social networking site while Granit Xhaka has also uploaded a photo and message to Instagram.
Check out what the players have been saying here:
Phew! What a hard match today. Happy we found back to winning ways & unboxed those 3 important points.#YaGunnersYa #BetterLateThanNever pic.twitter.com/i2AC4gGIud

WBA made it very frustrating to break them down, but we kept banging on the door and eventually got the goal we deserved!#OneNilToTheArsenal pic.twitter.com/LrzJ3YLszQ

Tough game but a very important win in our last game in 2016. Well done! See you on New Year's Day, Gunners #COYG #ARSWBA #sm20 @arsenal
