Hello and welcome to Norwich vs Arsenal LIVE… brought to you by Arsenal’s official car and van rental partner Europcar.
Arsenal come into this game in a buoyant mood following their convincing the 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in Tuesday’s Champions League game. Alexis Sanchez netted twice along with Mesut Ozil to put Arsene Wenger’s men in the driving seat in their quest to qualify for the last-16 of Europe’s elite competition.
Norwich, on the other hand, have only one win in their last eight outings and don’t exactly have the best of records against today’s opponents. Arsenal have only lost one of their last 13 meetings with Alex Neil’s side, winning seven of these games.
The Gunners also boast the league’s in form creator in Mesut Ozil, who now holds the record for consecutive Premier League assists (7), and it would be foolish to back against him adding to this tally today. Alex Neil will have to shut-down the the mercurial German’s passing game if his side are to have any chance of keeping that increasingly illusive clean sheet.
