Photos: Forgotten Midfield Duo Join Petr Cech In Arsenal Training
The Arsenal squad have been training today ahead of this weekends Emirates Cup where we’ll take on Lyon and Wolfsburg.
New summer signing Petr Cech is gearing up to make his debut in front of his new home fans and I’m sure he’ll get an excellent reception from the Gunners supporters tomorrow.
The only notable players missing from training were Alexis Sanchez, who’s still on an extended break following his participation in the Copa America, Danny Welbeck is still struggling with a knee injury, Mathieu Flamini has a minor knock while Wojciech Szczesny is in Italy ahead of his move to Roma.
However, there were two slightly unfamiliar faces at London Colney today as Krystian Bielik and Serge Gnabry joined in with the first team lads as they continue to step-up their recoveries from injury.
The midfield duo have become something of forgotten players recently but hopefully they can get improve their fitness, impress for the under-21’s and maybe push for a place in the first team squad soon.
