Photos: Petr Cech Poses In Arsenal Kit After Completing £10m Move
Arsenal wrapped-up the signing of goalkeeper Petr Cech from London rivals Chelsea earlier today.
We announced the deal on Arsenal.com this afternoon with the club confirming the 33-year-old has signed a long-term contract.
As usual, we haven’t disclosed the fee but the BBC are one of several media outlets who claim we’ve paid the Blues £10m for the Czech international.
I’m absolutely delighted with the signing and can’t wait for him to make his competitive debut, which coincidentally could come against Chelsea in the Charity Shield.
Cech becomes our first major signing of the summer but I think if we can also bring in a striker and another holding midfielder, then we’ll have a title winning squad.
