Team: Wilshere & Diaby Start For Arsenal U21’s v Reading

Arsenal midfielders Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby continue their search for match fitness as they start for Arsenal under-21’s against Reading this evening.

Both players have recently returned to full training following lengthy injury absences and have been playing for the Under-21’s in recent weeks in order to regain some much-needed match fitness.

The duo will get that opportunity again tonight as they start against Reading at the Emirates tonight.

This is the confirmed Arsenal Under-21 line-up for the game:

Arsenal

Macey, Pleguezuelo, O’Connor, Bielik, Ormonde-Ottewill, Diaby, Maitland-Niles, Crowley, Wilshere, Gnabry, Iwobi

Subs: Iliev, Dobson, Kamara, Zelalem, Mavididi.

Let’s hope they can both get some minutes under their belt and put themselves in contention to return for the first team in the FA Cup semi final this weekend.
