VIDEO: Olivier Giroud Scores Lovely Goal As France Thrash Jamaica

Olivier Giroud got himself on the score-sheet on Sunday night as France continued their World Cup reparations with a resounding 8-0 win over Jamaica.

With France already 3-0 thanks to goals from Cabaye, Matuidi and Benzema, Giroud latched on to a superb left-wing cross from the Real Madrid hitman to fire home the fourth shortly after half-time.

Further goals Benzema, Matuidi and a double from Griezmann secured the comfortable victory but it was interesting to see how well France played with Benzema on the left and Giroud through the middle.

Arsene Wenger was commenting on the game for French radio and no doubt he would have been impressed with how the duo linked up throughout the game. Something to think about, eh Arsene!
