VIDEO: Highlights Of Mathieu Flamini’s MOTM Display v Stoke

Arsenal beat Stoke City 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to move top of the Premier League table.

While many were talking after the game about the three assists from Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey continuing his fine goalscoring run, the performance of Mathieu Flaimin was also a hot topic of conversation.

The Frenchman returned to the club last month on a free transfer and has been absolutely superb during his last two outings. He earned the Man of the Match award on Sunday – and rightly so – for his all-action performance at the heart of midfield.

There is no doubt his defensive instincts and communication skills have improved us in recent games and Mikel Arteta will do well to dislodge him now he’s back to full fitness.
