Video: Southampton 0-2 Arsenal: Sanchez magic boosts top 4 hopes

Arsenal secured a HUGE 2-0 win at Southampton this evening thanks to second half goals from Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud.

We were struggling to create clear cut chances in what was a tight game so it needed a moment of magic to break the deadlock and once again it was Sanchez who provided it for us.

The Chilean international received a lovely weighted through-ball from Mesut Ozil and with one cut back he took two players out the game before cooly slotting home for 1-0 in the 60th minute.

The three points were then secured when super-sub Giroud came off the bench to head home from close range following good work from Sanchez and Ramsey.

The win means we’re now four points off Liverpool with a game in hand so have to pray they drop points at West Ham this weekend.
