Arsenal track Wolves’ Mateus Mane amid rising interest
Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Mateus Mane after his bright start to the season, according to TeamTalk.
The north London club are believed to be following the teenager closely as they continue to scan the market for young talents with strong upside.
Mane has stood out during a difficult campaign for Wolves, who have spent much of the season struggling at the bottom of the table.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with several major clubs now monitoring his situation closely as interest continues to grow.
The forward has already scored twice in the Premier League, a solid return for a player still early in his development.
Those goals, combined with his overall displays, have helped push him into the spotlight during the current campaign.
Wolves stance clear amid growing attention
Wolves are fully aware of the rising interest in Mane and have made their position very clear to potential suitors.
The club are not willing to listen to offers for the teenager at this stage, as they see him as a key part of their future plans, as per the report.
Officials at Molineux are keen to protect one of their most promising assets and avoid any mid-season disruption.
Mane remains under a long-term contract that runs until 2029, which places Wolves in a very strong position.
That deal gives the club control and allows them to resist pressure from bigger sides circling around the youngster.
Arsenal enquiries and strong competition
The report suggests that Arsenal have already made contact with Mane’s camp to explore a possible move in the future. The Gunners are believed to be gathering information rather than pushing for immediate talks with Wolves.
Chelsea are also said to have reached out, adding another layer of competition for the teenager’s signature. Interest does not stop there, with several other Premier League clubs keeping a close watch on his progress.
Scouts from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City were present when Mane scored against Everton. That match took place at Hill Dickinson Stadium, where the youngster caught the eye with a composed display.
Everton themselves are also understood to be tracking Mane, having followed his development over recent months.
Wolves have already decided they will not allow the teenager to leave during the current window. Any club hoping to make a move will need to wait until the summer before making a serious approach.
