Arsenal get back to Premier League action this afternoon as we welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium.

We came away with a very respectable 2-2 draw away to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Declan Rice grabbed an equaliser to earn a point at the Allianz Arena after Eberechi Eze’s opener was cancelled out.

The game came at a huge cost though as Bukayo Saka was forced off early on with a quad injury and is facing up to eight weeks on the sidelines. In his absence, Noni Madueke starts on the right flank today with Eze lining-up on the opposite side of attack.

David Raya keeps goal once again for Arsenal while Myles Lewis-Skelly starts at left-back. Piero Hincapie is back in the squad after recovering from an ankle injury but he’s named among the substitutes along with Riccardo Calafiori.

Ezri Konsa has been superb since arriving from Aston Villa in the summer and he continues alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in the absence of William Saliba. Ben White is recalled to start at right-back with Jurrien Timber making way.

Martin Odegaard starts and captains Arsenal this afternoon while Mikel Merino is handed a start alongside Declan Rice in midfield. Bruno Guimaraes and Martin Zubimendi have to settle for places on the bench.

Viktor Gyokeres is handed a chance to impress as he leads the line up front. Kai Havertz drops to the bench where he’s joined by Max Dowman.
