Arsenal drawn to face Nottingham Forest in 3rd round of the FA Cup
The draw for the third round of the FA Cup was conducted tonight and Arsenal have been away to Nottingham Forest.
We go in to the competition as holders for the third time in the last four seasons after beating Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley back in May.
And we’ll start the defence of the cup with a tricky trip to the City Ground to take on Championship side Nottingham Forest.
No doubt Arsene Wenger will continue with his policy of fielding a weakened side with the second-string and youngsters given another chance to impress.
But let’s hope we manage to book our place in the fourth round as it would be a shame to bow out of the competition without putting up a good fight.
Of the other ties, the stand out is no doubt Liverpool v Everton while most of our other rivals got very winnable draws with Man Utd taking on Derby at home, Man City hosting Burnley, Chelsea facing a trip to Norwich while Tottenham will host AFC Wimbledon.
The @EmiratesFACup third-round draw has been made – and we'll travel to @NFFC
