Video: Arsenal 2-0 Reading: Oxlade-Chamberlain double sinks Royals
Arsenal booked their place in the quarter finals of the EFL Cup thanks to a relatively comfortable 2-0 victory over Reading at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was the man to open the scoring as he pounced on a poor clearance before driving at the defence and firing low in to the far corner in the 33rd minute.
We continued to dominate and had to wait until the 78th minute before we made it 2-0 and it was that man The Ox again as he lashed home via a deflection from the edge of the area.
The win sees us book our place in the draw for the quarter finals as Arsene Wenger goes one step closer to winning the League Cup for the first time as Arsenal manager.
