[Tweet] Mesut Ozil sends birthday message to ‘bro’ Mathieu Flamini

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter this morning to send a happy birthday message to team mate Mathieu Flamini.

Ozil and Flamini enjoy something of a ‘bromance’ at Arsenal with the pair known to get on extremely well and spend plenty of time together off the pitch.

The are regularly snapped fooling around and sharing jokes on the training pitch, so it’s no surprise that Mesut has taken to Twitter to wish his friend a happy birthday today.

The German international posted photos of them together along with a message to Flamini saying:

My best wishes to my Bro, Mathieu!!! See you later, my friend! #HappyBirthday #FelizCumpleaños #Flamini

Flamini may not be the most talented player in the squad and fans certainly won’t shed a tear when he leaves the club this summer when his contract expires.

However, the Frenchman is a very popular player among the rest of the squad and he always gives his best on the pitch, so here’s hoping Mathieu enjoys his day.

The midfielder will be hoping to celebrate turning 32 by getting a recall to the starting eleven for Tuesday night’s FA Cup replay at Hull City.
