Video highlights: Aston Villa 0-2 Arsenal: Gunners go top
Arsenal eased to a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park to move top of the Premier League table this afternoon.
We made it 1-0 in just the 8th minute when Oli Giroud slotted home a penalty after Walcott was brought down in the box by Hutton. The ref took his time making the decision but he got there in the end.
It was 2-0 just before half-time and it was a superb break away goal from Arsenal. After Ramsey won the ball in his own half, Walcott fed Ozil who unselfishly squared to Rambo who make no mistake from close range.
Villa caused more problems in the second half but there were no further goals so we eased to a 2-0 win which sees us move top of the table ahead of Leicester’s clash with Chelsea tomorrow.
