Video: Spurs 1-2 Arsenal: Flamini Stunner Means North London Is Red
Mathieu Flamini scored a stunning volley to seal a 2-1 victory for Arsenal over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night to book our place in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.
Flamini opened the scoring midway through the first half when he poked home a rebound from close range after Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shot had been saved.
Spurs drew level after half-time when Calum Chambers put through his own net but Flamini stepped up to smash home a stunning 20-yard volley to make it 2-1 with 15 minutes left.
The hosts couldn’t find another goal so we claim the bragging rights as well as putting our name in the hat for the next round of the League Cup.
