Individual Video Highlights: Alexis Sanchez Grabs Assist For Chile
Arsenal super star Alexis Sanchez was in action for his country last night and he played a key role as Chile opened their Copa America campaign with a 2-0 win over Ecuador.
Sanchez started in attack and was a constant threat throughout the game, with the 26-year-old going close to getting on the score-sheet on a couple of occasions.
Chile had to wait until midway through the second half to finally make the breakthrough with Juventus midfielder – and reported Arsenal target – Arturo Vidal slamming home a penalty.
With just six minutes remaining, Sanchez then produced a moment of magic as his superb pass set Eduardo Vargas clear to slot home the second and wrap-up the win for the hosts.
