Arsenal Duo Named In European Team of the Week

Arsenal duo Alexis Sanchez and Kieran Gibbs have been named in the WhoScored European Team of the Week.

The eleven is compiled of the players who scored highest in their positions for domestic league games during the week of 3rd – 9th March.

Gibbs registered a superb score of 9.21 following his performance during our 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers last Wednesday.

The left-back chipped in with two assists to cap off an excellent all-round display and it sees him make the team with the highest score of any defender in Europe.

Sanchez ended up scoring the winner at Loftus Road last week as he cut inside to drill past Rob Green and his score of 8.79 was enough to see him line-up alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in attack.
