Arsenal predicted line-up against West Ham United
Arsenal will welcome West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
The Gunners were at the top of the table but following Liverpool’s victory over Burnley last night, the Merseyside club have now placed themselves at the top of the league with 42 points from 19 games.
So, Arsenal will have to defeat the Hammers tomorrow to regain their place at the summit of the league. Mikel Arteta’s side are currently second in the table with 40 points from 18 games.
However, defeating West Ham won’t be straightforward for the North London club as David Moyes’ side have enjoyed a promising campaign this term and they are currently full of confidence having beaten Manchester United last weekend. So, Arsenal will have to be at their very best to come away with all three points from tomorrow’s game.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs West Ham
David Raya is set to continue between the sticks for Arsenal tomorrow so Aaron Ramsdale will be among the substitutes once again. William Saliba will keep hold of his place at the heart of the Gunners’ backline and alongside the Frenchman, Gabriel Magalhaes should commence after putting his name on the score-sheet against Liverpool last weekend.
Ben White is likely to be in the right-back position, while Oleksandr Zinchenko could continue on the opposite side. So, Jakub Kiwior is set to remain on the bench in this fixture. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber remain sidelined due to their respective problems.
Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira haven’t recovered from their injury problems so they aren’t going to be available for this fixture. Therefore, Declan Rice should continue in the holding midfield position. Martin Odegaard is set to be the advanced midfielder, while Leandro Trossard could complete the midfield trio for Arsenal.
Kai Havertz is suspended for this fixture having picked up his fifth booking of this season in the Premier League versus Liverpool. Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny could be among the substitutes.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be deployed on the flanks, while Gabriel Jesus is set to lead the line for the North London club. So, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah might have to settle for a place on the bench tomorrow.
