Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Everton – Martinelli & Holding start
Arsenal take on Everton at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season.
Aaron Ramsdale keeps goal once again for Arsenal this afternoon while Cedric Soares starts at right-back in the absence of Takehiro Tomiyasu – who’s ruled out due to injury. Nuno Tavares continues at left-back with Kieran Tierney still recovering from a knee problem.
Ben White is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench so Rob Holding is recalled to line-up alongside Gabriel at the heart of Arsenal’s back four.
Thomas Partey returned to full training last week but he’s not risked today so Mohamed Elneny keeps his place alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield. Albert Sambi Lokonga is among the Arsenal substitutes.
Martin Odegaard starts once again in the attacking midfield role while Bukayo Saka keeps his place in attack. Arteta will be looking to the duo to continue their excellent link-up play this afternoon.
Gabriel Martinelli starts on the left flank today so Emile Smith Rowe has to settle for a place among the substitutes. Eddie Nketiah keeps his place up front with Alexandre Lacazette remaining on the bench along with Nicolas Pepe.
These are the line-ups for the game.
