Video: Leicester 3-1 Arsenal: Away form woes continue for 10-men Arsenal
Arsenal slumped to yet another away defeat after we lost 3-1 to Leicester City at the King Power this evening having played most of the match with 10-men.
We started brightly but predictably we threw it all away as Leicester took the lead in the 14th minute when Iheanacho fired home after we failed to clear our lines following a corner.
Things went from bad to worse as just one minute later Mavropanos was sent off after bringing down Iheanacho after the Leicester striker looked to race through on goal having intercepted the defender’s pass.
I thought it was a little harsh considering Kolasinac was covering but it was a silly mistake from the youngster and he paid the ultimate price.
Arsenal fought extremely well with 10-men and got a deserved equaliser when Aubameyang pounced to fire home the rebound in the 53rd minute after his initial effort was saved following good work from Maitland-Niles.
However, we gifted Leicester the chance to win it when Mkhitaryan’s clumsy challenge on Gray in the area led to a penalty and Vardy smashed home for 2-1 in the 76th minute.
Mahrez scored a lovely late third goal to make it 3-1 as Arsenal slumped to our seventh consecutive away defeat of 29108.
