[Photos] Arsenal duo train ahead of return to starting XI versus AC Milan
Arsenal duo Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck took part in full training today as the pair prepare to return to the starting eleven against AC Milan tomorrow night.
We head to the San Siro on Thursday evening for the first leg of our Europa League last-16 clash and Arsene Wenger is under huge pressure to bring home a positive result having lost our last four games.
Ramsey, Welbeck and Hector Bellerin were left out of the starting eleven for Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Brighton after Wenger decided to give them a breather ahead of the Milan trip.
All three players have taken part in full training today and Ramsey is almost certain to be recalled in midfield tomorrow while Welbeck will start up front as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible and Alexandre Lacazette is injured.
However, despite taking part in training today, the Mirror claim that Bellerin won’t travel to Italy this afternoon as a knee injury has ruled him out for at least the next two games.
If true, it seems Hector must have aggravated the niggling knee problem in training but his absence will be a huge blow as Calum Chambers will probably have to start at right-back against Milan.
