Video: Swansea 3-1 Arsenal: Shambolic away display once again from Gunners
Another shambolic display on the road saw Arsenal crash to an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this evening.
It was a shocking start for us in Wales as Swansea were well on top during the first half hour but we snatched the lead in the 33rd minute when Monreal fired home at the far post from a superb Ozil pass.
However, in true Arsenal style we gifted the Swans an immediate equaliser as Ozil lost possession on the wing and shocking defending from Xhaka let Clucas run clear to make it 1-1.
We weren’t much better in the second half and Swansea took the lead in calamitous fashion as Cech miss-kicked a routine clearance straight to Jordan Ayew who tapped home from close range in the 61st minute.
More schoolboy defending, this time from Monreal and Mustafi, allowed Ayew to drive in to the box and he set-up Clucas to fire home Swansea’s third late on.
It was a disgraceful performance from start to finish and no amount of Aubameyang’s or Mkhitaryan’s are going to solve our clear issues in midfield, defence and in goal.
