[Photos] Squad number revealed as Mkhitaryan trains with Arsenal first team

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been training with his new Arsenal team mates for the first time since completing his move from Manchester United.

The Armenian international was included in a straight swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez move in the opposite direction with the two transfer being confirmed on Monday evening.

Mkhitaryan’s new shirt number was revealed a short time ago with the playmaker being given the famous No.7 shirt after it was vacated by Sanchez following his switch to Old Trafford.

The attacking midfielder has now taken part in his first training session with Mkhitaryan photographed getting to know his new team mates at London Colney this afternoon.

He looked in great spirits and no doubt he’ll be desperate to make a positive impression after falling out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho at United this season.

Unfortunately he won’t be able to make his debut against Chelsea tomorrow night as Mkhitaryan has already played for Man Utd in the League Cup this season so he’ll have to wait for our trip to Swansea next Tuesday to make his bow.
