[Photos] Elneny tussles with Lacazette as Arsenal squad trains ahead of Swansea
Arsene Wenger and his coaching staff have been putting the Arsenal squad through their final preparations ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Swansea City.
The boss is set to recall a number of first team players this weekend after resting all his big guns for Tuesday night’s League Cup victory over Norwich City.
The hero that night was Eddie Nketiah but the 18-year-old was back with the youngsters today meaning he won’t be involved with the first team squad tomorrow afternoon.
However, Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette are all set to return after being given the night off in midweek.
Calum Chambers is due to resume full training on Monday as he looks to make his comeback from a hip injury but for now he remains out along with Danny Welbeck, Shkodran Mustafi and Santi Cazorla.
It looks like it was a competitive training session at London Colney today with Elneny snapped tussling with Lacazette but hopefully the midfielder went easy on our £50m summer signing!
