[Photos] Today’s training pictures offer insight in to Arsenal’s team vs Norwich
Arsene Wenger has been putting the Arsenal players through their paces ahead of tomorrow night’s League Cup fourth round clash with Norwich City.
Judging by the photos from today’s session at London Colney, it looks as though the manager is once again going to make wholesale changes to his starting eleven.
Wenger fielded a severely weakened side against Doncaster Rovers in the third round and it seems we’re going to see a similar team against Norwich tomorrow.
There was no sign of first team regulars such as Koscielny, Monreal, Mertesacker, Xhaka, Ramsey, Ozil, Kolasinac, Bellerin, Sanchez or Lacazette as they are all expected to be rested having started during the 5-2 win at Everton yesterday.
Of the first team squad, only Iwobi, Walcott, Wilshere, Elneny, Holding, Coquelin, Debuchy and Giroud trained today so I’d expect all eight to start against Norwich.
Maitland-Niles and Nelson are set to be handed starts in the wing-back positions in the Carabao Cup tomorrow while Matt Macey could make his debut between the sticks.
The rest of the squad will be made up of youngsters with Akpom, Nketiah, Sheaf, Dasilva, McGuane, Osei-Tutu and Willock all taking part in training today.
