[Photo] Confirmed: Sanchez arrives back in London ahead of Arsenal return

Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to confirm his arrival back in London ahead of his return to Arsenal pre-season training this week.

Sanchez has enjoyed an extended break following his participation in the Confederations Cup this summer where he helped lead Chile to the final.

The 28-year-old was initially scheduled to resume training at London Colney on Sunday but was given a few extra days off after falling unwell with the flu.

Alexis was then snapped with lawyer Ruben Inostroza Povea and agent Fernando Felicevich on board a flight to Paris where he travelled to pick up his visa – which he does every summer.

The attacker quickly flew to London and has now posted photos on his social media account to confirm his arrival back in the capital, with his dogs of course, ahead of his return to training tomorrow.

Sanchez is also expected to hold face-to-face talks with Wenger about his future amid speculation he’s ready to try and force a move away from the club this summer.

Alexis has one year left on his contract and Wenger insists he won’t be allowed to leave even if he doesn’t sign an extension, so it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out over the coming days.

Back in London! ⚽️????
