[Video] Alexis Sanchez humiliated by Arsenal team-mate in training
Alexis Sanchez was humiliated by an unlikely source as Gabriel pulled-off a stunning ‘no-look’ nutmeg on the Arsenal superstar in training today.
The squad have been undertaking their final preparations at London Colney this afternoon ahead of Sunday’s final Premier League game with Everton.
The lads looked in good spirits as they were taking part in a ball-keeping exercise with Sanchez tasked with getting the ball from team-mates including the likes of Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey, Kieran Gibbs, Mesut Ozil and Gabriel.
After narrowly failing to nutmeg Ramsey, Sanchez was then done by a lovely piece of skill from Gabriel as the Brazilian defender pulled-off a no-look nutmeg on the Chilean international.
Gabriel and Walcott almost collapsed in laughter while Mertesacker marched over to poke fun at Sanchez, with the striker jokingly kicking the ball at the camera saying ‘No video!’.
It’s great to see Alexis enjoying himself with the rest of the lads in training but it doesn’t really fit the narrative that he’s ‘unhappy’ at the club, does it?
I thought he just stormed around the training pitch arguing with his team mates? No? Or is that just what the media would like us to think?!
Anyway, let’s hope the boys are still laughing on Sunday night. We need to beat Everton and hope Middlesbrough to get a positive result at Anfield to snatch fourth spot.
