Arsenal duo named in Premier League Team of the Week

Arsenal’s defensive duo of Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal have been named in the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Week.

Bellerin continued his excellent form with another superb performance at right-back during our 3-0 win at Watford on Saturday evening.

The young Spaniard was a real threat down the wing and he got his rewards after setting up Aaron Ramsey for the final goal. His overall display earned him a score of 8.15 and a place in the Team of the Week.

Monreal was also excellent during the win at Vicarage Road but perhaps surprisingly he notched up an even better score of 8.77 – which was the second highest in the entire division.

Alexis Sanchez was among the goals again on Saturday but his score of 8.6 wasn’t good enough while Mesut Ozil’s 8.3 was also just short as there were plenty of outstanding displays this past weekend in midfield and attack.
