Photos: Sanchez & Arsenal Squad Train Ahead Of West Ham Game
Alexis Sanchez has been training with the rest of his Arsenal team mates ahead of Sunday’s Premier League opener against West Ham.
The Chilean star finally returned to pre-season training on Wednesday after enjoying an extended break following his exploits at the Copa America last month.
Arsene Wenger hasn’t ruled him out of Sunday’s clash entirely but admits its highly unlikely that Sanchez will play any part in the game.
I’m sure he’ll be desperate to be involved but it’s probably sensible to give him a bit more time to get back up to speed. Even with his training on the beach, he won’t be anywhere near fit enough yet.
The 26-year-old joined in with the rest of his Arsenal team mates in training today. You can see photos of the boys being put through their paces below, courtesy of Arsenal.com:
