Photos: Ozil, Wilshere + More: Players Share Selfies From Plane

By on July 19, 2015

Arsenal have flown back to London after completing their pre-season trip to Singapore and several of the players have shared photos from the plane journey home.

We’ve enjoyed a hugely successful tour to the Far East where we won the Barclays Asia Trophy thanks to a 3-1 victory over Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Following the game, the squad wasted no time in flying back to the UK and Per Mertesacker was quick to upload a ‘selfie’ with Nacho Monreal on the plane.

Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Calum Chambers also posted photos en route home as they posed for snaps with team-mates Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott.

It looks like the lads had a great trip and I’m sure it was an excellent bonding experience for them all, so hopefully they’ll be back in confident mood ahead of the new season.

Here are the photos below:

To all Arsenal players, always learn to cherish the joy, laughter and most importantly the opportunity that given to you by Arsene Wenger. That’s not many coach like him left in world…being the closest Sir Alex, has long retired and now probably Jose M or Pep G the only few that left exists in the world of football. History always there to rewind and show what the past can thought us all, look at what happen to those that force their way out of Emirates (except those that got AWs blessing, so far there are only 2 players that we knew- Fabregas and Henry). It is all crafted on the wall, past vendettas who jump ship during their prime and there’s when Arsenal cried out loud for them, A.Helb (only 1 season with Barcelona after that all over the place and now, don’t even bothered to know). Flamini (same but his self conscious speaks of u-turn mid way in his career by heading back to Emirate and help AW to finish the season in top 4. Adebayor (poor lad, amazing player, too greedy and now, anyone has any ideas where is he now?) Nasri and Sagna ( gone case, from promising stars ended up “blinking away”…can’t really fault them though, still young and not wise enough to think through…but chose to retire from football (means resting at bench) at this stage is really dangerous…and now Van Persie…, wake up Gunners, your destiny, your pathway, be wise!!!
