Arsenal Duo Called-Up To France Squad For Double Header
Arsenal duo Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud have been called-up to the France squad for their upcoming double-header.
Didier Deschamps’s men entertain Belgium in a friendly on Sunday June 7 before taking on Albania the following Saturday.
The French boss announced his 23-man squad today and regulars Koscielny and Giroud have unsurprisingly been selected.
The boys will play in the FA Cup final on May 30 so hopefully Deschamps goes easy on them and gives them a rest against Belgium.
Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has also been picked in the squad, despite barely playing for Man City this season.
Here is the full squad:
France Squad vs Belgium & Albania: Lloris, Mandanda, Ruffier, Tremoulinas, Sakho, Koscielny, Varane, Mangala, Sagna, Jallet, Pogba, Matuidi.
