Video: Arsenal 2-1 Leicester: Walcott Seals Scrappy Win
Arsenal moved back into the top four with a scrappy 2-1 win over Leicester City at the Emirates tonight.
We opened the scoring midway through the first half when Laurent Koscielny swept home Mesut Ozil’s corner to beat Mark Schwarzer at the near post before Theo Walcott made it 2-0 just before half time with a lovely strike.
Leicester pulled one back early in the second half when Kramaric fired home a loose ball past Ospina at his near post – although replay’s showed Cambiasso had handled in the build up.
The visitors pushed for an equaliser but we held on to move level on points with third-placed Southampton ahead of tomorrow nights games.
