PHOTO: Messi Posts Heartfelt Tribute To Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry
This week saw Arsenal legend Thierry Henry hang up his boots and now Lionel Messi has become the latest player to pay tribute to the Frenchman.
The Argentinean super-star spent three years with Henry at Barcelona between 2007-2010 in a side that won seven major trophies including 2 La Liga’s and the Champions League.
Messi has now taken to his Facebook page to post a heartfelt tribute to the ‘King’, saying he was lucky to have played with him and wishes him all the best for the future.
He posted on Facebook:
My friend, Thierry Henry, I will never forget the amazing moments we have experienced together. I was really lucky to play with you and I wish you all the best. A hug. – Lionel Messi
