PHOTO: Debuchy Shares Snap On Plane With New Team Mate Koscielny

New Arsenal signing Mathieu Debuchy has linked-up with the squad for the first time today since making a £12m move from Newcastle earlier this month.

As if starting your new life as an Arsenal player couldn’t get any more special, it’s actually the right-back’s birthday and he gets to celebrate turning 29 by heading off on a pre-season tour with his new team mates.

Debuchy has shared a ‘selfie’ on his Twitter account which shows him sitting next to France international team mate Laurent Koscielny on the plane as the squad flew out to Austria for a four-day training camp today.

I’m sure the fact he knows Koscielny and Olivier Giroud well will help him settle in quickly and these get-away’s to foreign soil can be important in helping the newbies forge bonds with their new team-mates. That’s why it’s a shame Alexis Sanchez hasn’t been able to travel.
