Arsenal ‘Confident’ Of Sealing £8m Deal As Wenger Eyes Double Swoop

By on July 3, 2014

Arsenal are ‘confident’ of signing Loic Remy in an £8m deal as Arsene Wenger looks to bring in two strikers this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Remy has been linked with Arsenal for some time but the paper claims that the boss is finally ready to make his move and will trigger the strikers £8m buy-out clause this summer.

The Frenchman is expected to leave QPR on a permanent basis after enjoying an excellent season on loan at Newcastle last year, where he scored 14 goals in 26 games.

Widespread reports have suggested that Remy is stalling on his future as he’s holding out for Arsenal because he wants to follow in the foot-steps of his idol Thierry Henry, so it looks as though Arsene is ready to grant him his wish.

And the signing of Remy will be part of a double striker swoop as the Daily Mail claim that we’re looking to bring in two forwards this summer, with the likes of Mario Balotelli, Mario Mandzukic and of course Alexis Sanchez all targets.

I’d personally be delighted if we signed Remy and Sanchez. Both are versatile and can play out wide or through the middle, so they’d give Arsene plenty of options, while they would also bring some much-needed pace to our attack.

Sanchez is likely to cost in the region of £30m, with recent reports even claiming we’ve agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old. Whether that turns out to be the case remains to be seen, but spending £38m on the Chilean and Remy sounds like excellent business to me, so fingers crossed we can get both deals done.

This would be just about ideal for me. Sanchez and Remy, plus a solid DM (in an ideal world Vidal, but that’s unlikely, otherwise Schneiderlin or one of the Bender twins), a RB (Aurier? Debuchy?), a CB and a GK. Poyfect!

As if the english players have been immaculate. The latest weeks have proved that the reason for PL to be considered as one of the best is due to the fact that it is a playground for the stinking rich. Especially if the wealth has been generated in dubious areas. To pay £25 million for Lallana is just out of this world, however Reds are afraid of breaking the habit of signing stones that appear to be diamonds, but are just stones.

25 for Lallana is not bad at all, he had a better season than Ozil and Silva ffs. If he was Spanish all you fifa suckers would have called him world class!!! But i guess € 50 million on Ozil is alright?? Lallana is younger, 2 footed, runs 2.8 times as much as Ozil each single game, is quiker with better drbbling skills because he had more sucsessful dribbles than most, infact only Suarez had more sucsessful dribbles in the PL last season, had more chances created than ozil last season and has 4.6 times the defensive contributions of ozil in tackles, clearances interseptions

And made the most sprints in the league last season.

14 goals and 9 assists in all comps.
F.eks Iker Munian had 4 goals and 6 assists in all comp and is touted for £39 million..get a grip..
Lallana is about £ 4-5 million overpriced but he will florish at Liverpool no doubt..2 seasons from now he will probably fetch them twice what they paid if they want to sell him…wait and see

and this “unknown” star quality was not even a starter in Brazil. Perhaps that’s the reason why they fluked.

Not going to happen what so ever..0% chance of Arsenal signing Sanchez and give it a week before that FACT is well known to the world.

Luis Suarez moves to Barcelona for £ 45 million & Alexis Sanchez going the other way. Sadly Arsenal cant match the wages Liverpool are about to offer him.. Suarez is on £ 200 000 which is 75 000 more than Arsenals best player (Ozil on 125 000 £)
Sanchez will get 155000 a week something Arsenal cant and will not match due to their wage structure,. If they give him 155 000 then Ozil, Walcott & Ramsey will all have to match his wages because it clearly states in their contracts to match the highest paid players at the club.. but dream on, then wake up when remy & Campbell are the only 2 forwards arriving…wenger has high hopes for Sanogo & Miyachi this season

It all sounds good, but will it happen,i’ve heard all this many times before, “I WOULDN’T TRUST WENGER AS FAR AS I COULD THROW HIM,” my biggest disappointment last season, was that Wenger didn’t move on.

Story Story Sto-or-rry STORY! Once upon a time, time – time, in the year 2014 after the close of the past season, the managers of the various Epl clubs were busy buying quality players to beef up their clubs for the Epl title of 2014/2015, one acclaimed Prof. Wenger was serious busy running world cup commentAry for a radio station, a former young and proven midfielder returning from Barca was turned down because he is not a french man. I say so because M. Flamini left for AC Milan and came back an old spent force he was welcomed by wenger, Arsenal have two notorious accident and injury prone players in the persons of Wilsher and Ox Chamberlin. Wenger is not the Mr. know it all because it is rare to have Santi, Ozil, Wilshere and Ox fit at the same time, Fab would have been the best option because the key to Man City’s success was quality bench and they’ve already signed Sagna etc. All the top four or now five have already made notable signings while our Wenger is very busy running world cup commentary, THIS IS A CLEAR INDICATION TO US ARSENAL FANS THAT WENGER AND HIS GROUP ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE EPL TITLE.
