Arsenal edged past Liverpool 2-1 at the Emirates this afternoon to book our place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the scoring with a neat finish in the 16th minute before Lukas Podolski made it 2-0 just after half-time.

The German then stupidly hacked at Luis Suarez in the box to offer the visitors a way back into the game, with Steven Gerrard converting from the spot.

We held out for the win and will now play Everton at home in the quarter finals.
