Photo: Xhaka & Campbell pose for selfie as Arsenal fly-out to USA

Arsenal’s only big-money summer signing, Granit Xhaka, has uploaded a selfie to his Instagram account of him posing for a selfie with Joel Campbell as the squad flew-out to the USA this afternoon.

After undertaking their final training session at London Colney this morning, the Arsenal squad left England for California ahead of friendlies against an MLS All-Star XI and Chivas de Guadalajara later this week.

While a whole host of top names such as Ozil, Ramsey, Koscielny, Giroud and Sanchez were all left behind in north London following their exploits with their countries this summer, our big-money signing Xhaka was on board the plane.

The Swiss international has taken to Instagram to upload a ‘selfie’ of him sitting alongside attacker Joel Campbell and with a 12-hour flight ahead of them, the new team-mates have plenty of time to get to know each other.

Chambers also shared a snap of him and Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cech posed with Martinez, Walcott was all smiles with Ospina while our Spanish contingent of Bellerin, Monreal and Cazorla also had a photo on the plane.

Let’s hope the boys have a safe flight and can get some important minutes under their belts on Thursday night.
