Revealed: Arsenal’s Player Of The Month For January Announced
Santi Cazorla has been named as Arsenal’s Player of the Month for the second time in a row.
The Spaniard scooped the award in December and carried on his excellent form last month after scoring twice and picking up four assists, and put in MOTM displays against Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Cazorla has certainly been the stand-out player in recent weeks as he continues to impress in a more central role, so it was no surprise when Arsenal announced that he has stormed to victory in the Player of the Month poll for January with a whopping 60% of the votes.
Francis Coquelin came in a deserved second with Alexis Sanchez in third. Both players, Coquelin in particular, were excellent in January but I don’t think there can be any complaints about Santi winning again.
Let’s hope he continues his fine form at White Hart Lane his weekend!
