Arsenal blow as star ruled out for at least another 3 weeks

Fresh off the back of the devastating Cazorla injury setback, Arsenal have received another blow with Arsene Wenger also confirming that Jack Wilshere is still at least another three weeks away from making his return.
Wilshere hasn’t featured so far this season after suffering a fractured fibula in training on the eve of our Community Shield clash with Chelsea in early August 2015.
The midfielder has suffered several setbacks throughout his rehabilitation following surgery in September and at practically every press conference in recent months Arsene has been saying he’s ‘3-4 weeks away’.
Well, once again, the boss has revealed that Jack is still not back out on the training pitch and will only resume running work this week, with a proposed comeback date still pencilled in as ‘3-4 weeks’ away.
Wenger is quoted as saying by the Mirror:
“Jack is doing quite well but has still not been outside yet. Running, I think, starts again this week.
“It will be three to four weeks (from there). I can understand you worry for the England team. I worry as well. I’m a supporter of England.
We’ll have to wait and see whether Wilshere does in fact return in the next 3-4 weeks but I think it’s safe to say that Arsene will say the same thing at next weeks press conference, and the week after, and the week after…..etc.
I’d personally be very surprised if we see Wilshere play this season, which would be a real blow – especially following the news that Cazorla could be ruled out for the rest of the campaign with an Achilles injury.
