Arsenal hold talks to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick

By on August 29, 2026

Arsenal have reportedly held talks over a deal to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick, as per TEAMtalk.

After moving to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu from Palmeiras a couple of years ago, the 20-year-old featured as a rotational option in his debut campaign.

However, he struggled to break into Los Blancos’ starting line-up during the first half of last season. So, Endrick joined Olympique Lyonnais on loan in January to play regularly and develop his career.

The Brazilian showed glimpses of his qualities at Groupama Stadium, scoring eight goals and registering as many assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.

Having proven his worth in Ligue 1, the youngster secured his place in Brazil’s World Cup squad but remained on the periphery.

Now, TEAMtalk state that Endrick’s representatives explored options to find a new suitable destination for him earlier this summer, and Arsenal were offered the chance to sign him.

However, Real Madrid have refused to let him leave. But following Yan Diomande and Carlos Espi’s arrival, Endrick is concerned about his pathway to the first team.

Endrick to Arsenal

The report claim that Arsenal have made a fresh enquiry about Endrick’s availability after deciding to sell Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.

During talks with Real Madrid regarding Vinicius Junior, Arsenal asked about the details of signing Arda Guler and Endrick. The Brazilian is even tempted by the prospect of playing regularly for one of the best teams in Europe.

TEAMtalk state that apart from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been kept informed about Endrick’s current situation.

Meanwhile, Endrick isn’t the only option on Arsenal’s radar to bolster the left flank, as they are also interested in Igor Paixao, Marcus Rashford and Malick Fofana.

Endrick is a left-footed versatile forward as he is comfortable in the centre-forward and right flank. He is quick, has an eye for scoring goals from distance, and is efficient in defensive contributions.

The Brazilian is a talented player and possesses the potential to become one of the best forwards in the world. So, he might be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually formalise their interest in signing the South American late in this window.
