A supercomputer revealed its predictions regarding the team that will win the title of the current edition of the UEFA Champions League.

The final match of the prestigious European tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 30, at the Puskás Aréna in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, between Arsenal and the defending champion Paris Saint-Germain. The match will kick off at 5 PM GMT.

Arsenal and PSG qualified for the final after overcoming Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, respectively, in the aggregate of the two-legged semifinals.

A supercomputer predicts the Champions League winner.

According to the predictions of the supercomputer from the famous data network “Opta” (OPTA), Arsenal will lift the “two-eared” cup for the first time in its history.

The computer doubted Paris Saint-Germain’s ability to retain the title and achieve it for the second consecutive time, giving them a winning chance of 44.24%, compared to 55.76% for coach Mikel Arteta’s team.

The computer relied on Arsenal’s solid defense in its predictions, considering it the strongest backline in the Champions League this season (having conceded 6 goals in 14 matches), to stop the threat of the strongest attack in the old continent, with their players’ ability to quickly transition to attack and score goals, in addition to their great skills in capitalizing on set pieces.

The Paris attack is the strongest in Europe.

According to the “Hesgoal” website, the predictions of artificial intelligence completely contradict many realistic expectations and recommendations, which favor the Parisian giant whose players have scored 44 goals in the current edition (a record), as it is the most prepared team and has better names in most positions than its counterpart Arsenal.

The newspaper wondered about Paris’s ability to overturn these expectations and win the direct confrontation against the best team in Europe this season, between the projects of Spanish coach Luis Enrique and his compatriot Arteta.

Paris Saint-Germain reached the final after “two legendary battles” against the Bavarian giant, winning 6-5 on aggregate over the two matches. The defending champion won the first leg at the Parc des Princes 5-4, then secured a 1-1 draw in the second leg at the Allianz Arena, the stronghold of their German rival.

As for Arsenal, they also played two tough matches against the “Rojiblancos” and managed to secure a narrow qualification by winning 2-1 on aggregate. They drew 1-1 in the first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid before winning the second leg at home in front of their fans with a single goal scored by the Englishman Bukayo Saka.

Paris Saint-Germain is playing in its second consecutive final, having won the title last year with a 5-0 victory over Inter Milan, while Arsenal is playing in its second final in history after the first in 2006, which it lost 1-2 to Barcelona.

And if the Parisian team manages to win the title, it will be the third for their coach Enrique, who previously achieved European glory with Barcelona in 2015 and Saint-Germain in 2025.
