Confirmed line-ups: Real Madrid vs Arsenal – Kiwior and Merino start
Arsenal are in Spain looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League as we take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu this evening.
The Gunners hold a commanding 3-0 lead from the first leg after we produced a stunning second half display to dismantle the Spanish giants at the Emirates Stadium last week. A stunning double from Declan Rice – both from free kicks – put Arsenal in control before Mikel Merino sealed the sensational win.
Madrid now need to stage a comeback on home soil but Arsenal are confident of finishing the job to book our place in the last four where Paris Saint-Germain are awaiting the winners of this tie.
With Gabriel Magalhaes still out, Jacub Kiwior keeps his place alongside William Saliba in defence. Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly are the full-backs while Thomas Partey partners Declan Rice in midfield.
Martin Odegaard captains Arsenal once again while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli start on the wings. Merino leads the line up front in the continued absence of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
These are the teams:
