Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a swoop to sign Turkish duo Semih Kilicsoy and Ferdi Kadioglu this summer, as per Fanatik.

Kadioglu – who plays for Fenerbahce – is a right-footed versatile fullback. He has displayed promising performances in the Turkish top-flight this term, registering three assists and keeping 11 clean-sheets in 29 league appearances.

On the other hand, Kilicsoy is an 18-year-old centre-forward – who plays for Besiktas. After making his senior debut last term, the youngster has established himself as a key player for the Black & White this term, scoring nine goals and registering two assists in 17 league appearances.

So, it appears after being impressed by the duo’s recent performances, the Gunners have registered their interest in signing them ahead of the summer window.

Now, according to the report by Fanatik, Arsenal are interested in signing Kilicsoy and they have been monitoring his development before making a potential swoop this summer.

Kilicsoy & Kadioglu to Arsenal

The report further claims that apart from Kilicsoy, Arsenal have also scouted Kadioglu so they could try to acquire his service during the off-season. However, Fanatik states that Napoli are also keen on signing the duo so the North London club are set to face tough competition from the Italian giants in getting any potential deal done for them.

Kilicsoy – valued at around £7m by Transfermarkt – still has four years left in his current contract so Besiktas are in a strong position to demand a sizable amount of money to sell their star asset.

On the other hand, Kadioglu – valued at around £17m by Transfermarkt – is set to enter the final two years of his current contract so Fenerbahce could opt to cash-in on him this summer to make the most profit out of his departure.

It has been suggested that Arsenal could look to sign a new left-back this summer to support Oleksandr Zinchenko. Although they have Jakub Kiwior, he has been linked with a move away from the club in recent times so if the Polish international leaves then Kadioglu could be a useful option to reinforce the backline if they purchase him.

Meanwhile, Kilicsoy could also be a shrewd signing for Arsenal if they secure his signature as he has been showing signs that he could become a top-class forward in future.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually opt to formalise their interest in signing Kilicsoy and Kadioglu this summer.
