Arsenal have received a big boost in pursuit of Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic as the forward reportedly wants to move to the Premier League this summer, as per 90min.

It has widely been suggested that the Gunners are keen on bolstering their squad in the upcoming transfer window to continue the rebuild under Mikel Arteta.

Midfield is reportedly an area that the North London club are prioritising to reinforce at the end of this season but adding more firepower to the attack is also on Arteta’s agenda. Arsenal have already been linked with numerous strikers ahead of the summer window with Vlahovic emerging as a serious target.

The Gunners hold a long-term interest in the Serbian international as they were keen on signing him before his switch to Juventus. But, the 23-year-old opted to move to the Old Lady of Turin so Arsenal missed out on signing their key forward target.

However, Vlahovic has been struggling to showcase his best under Massimiliano Allegri so speculation surrounding the striker’s future continues to grow ahead of the summer window. According to the report by 90min, Vlahovic has become frustrated at Juventus so he wants to move away this summer.

Vlahovic to Arsenal

The report further claims that the 23-year-old prefers a Premier League move and his representatives have already made the forward’s desire known to the English clubs. So, Arsenal could finally manage to sign Vlahovic if they decide to formalise their interest at the end of this season.

However, 90min says that purchasing the Juventus star won’t be straightforward for Arsenal as Man Utd are also showing an active interest in signing the highly talented forward.

Vlahovic still has more than three years left on his current contract. So, Juventus are expected to demand a big fee and reportedly want £70m to let their asset leave this summer. Therefore, Arsenal will have to dig deep to get any potential deal done for the Serbian.

The former Fiorentina man is an extremely talented player and is deemed one of the best young strikers in Europe. So, he would be an excellent acquisition for Arsenal should they manage to acquire his service at the end of this season.

It’s funny isn’t it how players opinions change when it suits them.
Not interested in us last year but the life ambition to play for Juve “hasn’t quite worked out” and now wants to move to the premiership.
If he can’t deliver for Juve what makes him think he can deliver for Arsenal?
Just another foreign mercenary looking for a way out from an unhappy situation.
    No thanks.
