Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Leicester City
Arsenal will be looking to climb back into the top four with a win over Leicester City at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Aaron Ramsdale starts once again between the sticks while Kieran Tierney continues at left-back ahead of Nuno Tavares. Ben White and Gabriel partner each other yet again at the heart of Arsenal’s defence and Cedric Soares starts at right-back with Takehiro Tomiyasu still missing with a calf problem.
Thomas Partey will be looking to continue his excellent form as he anchor the midfield again this afternoon. Granit Xhaka continues in a more advanced role with Martin Odegaard also getting another start in the middle of the park. The Norwegian international has been superb of late so hopefully that form continues today.
Bukayo Saka has also been outstanding lately and he keeps his place on the right flank of Arsenal’s attack this afternoon. Gabriel Martinelli also keeps his place on the left side of attack so Emile Smith Rowe has to make do with a place on the bench. The youngster missed the win over Watford due to covid but is back in the squad today.
Alexandre Lacazette continues to lead the line up front and he’ll be hoping to get on the scoresheet after bagging two assists during Arsenal’s 3-2 win at Watford last weekend.
These are the teams for the game:
Arsenal
Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka; Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli.
Subs: Leno, Smith Rowe, Holding, Pepe, Tavares, Lokonga, Elneny, Nketiah, Swanson.
