[Instagram] Xhaka posts message to fans after scoring stunner v Hull
Granit Xhaka has taken to Instagram to post a message to his followers after scoring a screamer during Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
Xhaka was surprisingly left on the bench for the third consecutive game as Arsene Wenger went with Francis Coquelin alongside Santi Cazorla in the middle of the park.
However, the Swiss international replaced Cazorla midway through the second half and it’s fair to say he made an impact as the 23-year-old sealed a 4-1 victory with a sensational late goal.
Xhaka picked up the ball from over 30-yards and smashed home a pile-driver in to the top corner to open his account for the club and secure another important three points.
The midfielder has now taken to Instagram to post a message congratulating the team for the win and to say he’s proud to be part of this ‘great’ Arsenal squad. Xhaka also said he glad to have scored his first, and hopefully not last, goal for the club.
The lad is a top player but he also comes across as being very likable too and I think he’s going to become a big player for Arsenal. Once Wenger plays him from the start!
