Tweets: Arsenal players pay tribute to departing duo on Twitter
The Arsenal squad has been paying tribute to Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky on Twitter as they get set to leave the club next month.
Arteta came on for the final minutes during our 4-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday to make his final appearance in an Arsenal shirt before he leaves when his contract expires at the end of June.
The Spaniard appeared to score the fourth goal but it’s expected to officially go down as a Bunn own goal, however, it was still a fitting end to the skippers time at the club.
Unfortunately, Rosicky wasn’t named in the match-day squad but the players gave the Czech international a guard of honour after the game as the 35-year-old looks set to bring to an end a ten year spell in North London.
Some of the players have now taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the midfielder duo. Check out what Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Martinez, Ramsey and Campbell have been saying here:
Best of luck to Tommy and @mathieuflamini, also! These 3 guys have been amazing for the club. Going to miss them being around the place.

I have been an Arsenal fan since 1988. Life before Arsene Wenger was not very pleasant. Wenger came and changed the way we played. Attractive football at its best. However, he was unlucky that Arsenal had to build a stadium. Fans were not so pleased with Premier League Title and they wanted CL Title. Henry left for Barcelona and some players got impatient too. Fabregas left. Wenger had to build a new team out of almost nothing. Fans are again unhappy but Arsenal won FA Cup twice in the last 3 seasons and this time finished second in Premier League. It seems that fans are doing the same mistake out of desperation.

Just so sad to see Rosicky’s career at Arsenal come to an end. What a player, but so unfortunate with injuries that ruined his 10 year stay at the Emirates. Arsenal would have done better in all those seasons had he been fit. He will be missed sorely. All the best to him, Arteta, and Flamini.

Why viewers still use to read news papers when in this technological world all is presented on web?|

I don’t know how to show respect for my favorite players. But I must admit arsenal is not only a play maker or player maker club, it’s also a place for making humans. Though I read this tweets before, but thanks to the author for gathering all this tweets in a place.
Bravo.
