Video: Monaco 0-2 Arsenal: Glorious Failure Again For Gunners
Arsenal once again came up just short after crashing out of the Champions League on away goals following a 2-0 win in Monaco tonight.
We needed to turn around a 3-1 deficit from the first leg which meant a minimum of three goals were required at the Stade Louis II and we got the first of those just before half time when Giroud fired home at the second attempt.
Aaron Ramsey came off the bench to make it a nervy final 15 minutes after making it 2-0 with a low finish. However, we couldn’t find the third goal we needed to progress to the quarter finals so crash out in glorious failure yet again.
