Photo: Ozil & Sanchez Pose For Photo With Birthday-Boy Walcott
He may not have been too happy with his finishing against West Ham on Saturday but Theo Walcott was all smiles as he posed with several of his Arsenal team mates for a birthday photo at training this afternoon.
Theo has been with Arsenal since the age of 16 and spent his 26th birthday today taking part in our final training session before flying out to France ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with Monaco.
The attacker will be hoping to keep his place in the starting eleven after returning to the line-up for Saturday’s game against West Ham, but he may have trouble after some wayward finishing during our 3-0 win.
However, Walcott put that to the back of his mind this afternoon as he posed with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Gabriel Paulista, Tomas Rosicky, Per Mertesacker and Santi Cazorla at London Colney.
Ozil also took to his official Twitter account to send Theo a happy birthday message. Let’s hope we can give him the best present possible by getting the result we need against Monaco tomorrow night!
