As expected, Gabriel Paulsita will wear the number 5 shirt for Arsenal.
After completing his £11.2m move from Villarreal on Wednesday, many thought the centre-back would be handed the No.5 shirt which was vacated by Thomas Vermaelen in the summer.
Sure enough, Arsenal confirmed on Instagram a short time ago that Gabriel will indeed wear the Belgian’s old number.
Let’s hope we see Gabriel in his new shirt this weekend when we take on Aston Villa at the Emirates.
